Rebranding to cast the net even further around the UK…

Lindisfarne Oysters, a family run Northumberland based business, grow high quality pacific oysters (Crassostrea Gigas) on the seashore of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve.

Their customers include individuals, restaurants, licensed premises and specialist wholesalers based throughout the whole of the United Kingdom.

Perro were briefed to reposition the brand to attract more online sales from consumers and appeal to high
end restaurants based throughout the UK, but primarily in the south east.

To help to attract more high-end restaurant customers, Perro was asked to reposition and rebrand Lindisfarne Oysters. The ‘Since 1381’ strapline celebrates the genuine history and heritage of the product. The new brand identity pays homage to the monks, who in 1381 bought an oyster filled boat from a Scotsman for 100 shillings.
Stunning photography was commissioned to communicate both the rough and rugged environment of the Northumberland coastline and the natural, fresh nature of the actual product. The imagery is used throughout the website, which Perro designed and produced.
Perro was also asked to design packaging to help dispatch the oysters throughout the UK to both individual consumers and larger high-end restaurants kitchens.
Marketing literature to communicate the history and story of Lindisfarne Oysters was also produced. Perro ensured that the brand identity and key messages are communicated consistently throughout these touchpoints.
