Gateshead based Dunston Silver Band is a 28 piece brass band. They perform at concerts and events throughout the North East as well as appearing in regional contests and championships.
In the summer of 2016 they approached Perro and asked us to help with marketing. They wanted to create a marketing plan and revamp their existing website.
We delivered our Marketing Strategy Workshop which helped them to understand their mission and purpose. Target audience segmentation profiles were also developed. We then explored areas of digital marketing including seo, blogging and social media strategy.
Following on from the Workshop, a Marketing Action Plan detailing activity for the next 6 months was created.
To coincide with the Marketing Strategy Workshop, we also designed and published a new website.
The new fully mobile responsive website uses the WordPress content management system to enable members of the band to update content in line with the Marketing Action Plan.
Functionality enables the band members to promote events that they’ll be appearing at as well as displaying results from contents and championships. A media player also enables potential customers to listen to the band before booking.
