For the last few months, we’ve been working alongside Capability North East to understand better how to measure and improve our environmental performance and ultimately achieve an Investors in the Environment accreditation.

This exciting journey has involved analysing current resource data, reviewing our current policies and practices, creating a new Environmental Policy and an Environmental Action Plan.
We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded Investors in the Environment Bronze Accreditation after our recent audit.
The panel commented – strengths include the commitment of the team, willingness to understand resource data and its limitations, community and charitable actions and clarity in why a green journey is for them.
We feel better placed than ever to share this experience and the ‘green knowledge’ gained with our customers and suppliers to help them develop better environmental credentials.
We look forward to continuing this exciting journey and working towards a Silver Accreditation.
